At St. John's we cater for people of all ages. Every Sunday there are creche facilities and provision for children of all ages and there are other events during the week for all ages.

Creche (with See & Know) and K4C (Kids for Christ) - at Sunday morning services.

There are crèche facilities and provision for children at all our morning services. Each Sunday morning activities the snazzily called K4C - Kids for Christ - meet in a different part of the building, in age-related groups, joining the adults at, or near, the end of the service. This time with the children is designed to help them worship and learn in ways that are exciting and relevant to their needs.

The Get It Together! service, is a short and lively time of all-age worship and learning on the first Sunday of the month and this time of worship provides thought provoking material for the younger members of the church.

Open the Book

Two Teams from St. John's visit some of our local schools fortnightly presenting popular Bible stories dramatically, using costumes, props, projected images and songs. The children love it!

Schools Work

We are involved in leading assemblies in our local schools and also provide

opportunities during the year for those children to take part in church activities:

• Easter and Advent craft mornings

• Summer Holiday Club

• School Harvest & Christmas services

Uniformed Organisations

Brownies and Guides meet every Monday from 5.00pm.

Young People's Discipleship Group - Wednesdays (9-14 yrs) 4pm-5.30pm, Tuesdays (15yrs +) 5.30pm

For those aged 9-14 and 15+ who really want to get to grips with all this God-stuff!

There's time to chill out, eat burgers and donuts and study the Bible.

Family Cinema

We hold a Family Cinema Night every 2nd Saturday of the month. It's completely free and includes a free tub of popcorn per child. There is also a tuckshop available. Keep an eye on our Latest News section for details of films.
