This summer we are encouraging our congregation to take a copy of this short booklet on starting to pray. It has an inspiring reflection and prayer that can be read in just a few minutes each day, over the period of a week. Then the idea is to give the booklet away to a friend or family member who doesn't have a committed faith and to encourage them to have a go at using the booklet over the following week and to see what happens.

We give it a whirl ourselves and then we give it away to someone else. And we pray that God will reveal himself to our friends and family who are having a go at praying to him.
