Exploring Faith
Many people go through times when they begin to ask fundamental questions about life and its meaning. Â This may happen after the birth of a child, or the death of a loved one; during a period of depression or when life seems to be spiralling out of control.
Â
Whatever the circumstances of your life, these questions all remain the same. Â
Questions such as:
Â
What is the purpose or point of my life?
How do I know right from wrong?
Is there a God?
Is Christianity true?
What happens when we die?
Â
Â
Here at St John's we would like to help you answer some of those questions, which you can do in the following ways:
Â
Â
1. Look on the Web
There are a number of excellent websites which deal specifically with those tough questions we all
ask.  Here are a selection you may wish to try:
Â
                        - Christian Enquiry Agency
                    - Church on the Net
                    - re:Jesus
                    - Looking for God
                    - Reasonable Faith
                    - Zacharias Trust
Â
Â
Â
2. Come to Church
If you have enjoyed traditional Christian worship in the past then our 9.30am service may
be a good place to start. If you have not been a regular church goer before, or perhaps found
it boring in the past, then try our 11am Contemporary Service. You'll find a warm welcome at
either service. For more details please click on the button.
Â
Â
3. Join an Alpha Course
                Â
Â
Â
The Alpha course is a non-threatening way of finding out more about Jesus and Christianity.  It's also an
opportunity to get answers to any questions you may have.  Please click on the button to go our Alpha
Course page which contains more information about Alpha.
